Refinishing Furniture

So, I absolutely love going to garage sales, goodwill, and salvation army to find old furniture to redo!

These are a couple chairs I found at a garage sale..They were $1 ea
They are really old chairs, but all they need is a creative mind.
I took the cushions off and got to sanding.
Once I sanded them I completely wiped the chairs down
Before

I used a white Semi gloss Valsper Paint that we had left over from when we painted so, I just used it.
I put new fabric on the cushions and put new padding on them.

After

I found this small chest at a garage sale for $10
Before

I did the same process of sanding and cleaning
I did take the top off to paint this.

During the process

After
Just perfect to put at the end of the bed!

This is my kitchen table that I already had, but we had moved 3 times with it and lets just say it was scratched up very bad..
This is a picture of it when I had already sanded it!

I did use primer on it. I then painted it black and I used a clear coat but it got bubbly on the top and I got frustrated so I took sand paper and hand sanded it in a frustrated manner and well it turned out better that way. Since I used primer the white showed up so, its looks like i meant to do it!

See what I mean??

Well here is the finished table

Stools I got from goodwill for $4 ea

I did the same process sand and clean
I used the same black paint as the kitchen table

After
(Dont mind the shoes lol)

I have so much stuff I have redone its crazy..I would have half this stuff if  I didnt do this!
Too..be...continued...
